Welcome

I am a speech and hearing scientist working as the Director of Research and Development at the Moog Center for Deaf Education. Additionally, I am a certified teacher of deaf.
I study language, academic, and psychosocial outcomes for children who use cochlear implants and hearing aids. I am also interested in early intervention, caregiver coaching, speech perception, and spoken language development. You can read more about my research here.

I am based in St. Louis, Missouri and currently serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Program in Audiology and Communication Science at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, I served as adjunct faculty for the Department of Exceptional, Deaf, and Interpreter Education at the University of North Florida.
